Long-term partnership continues: YIT Lietuva and RSJ Investments to jointly complete Naujasis Skansenas

The project will be complemented by residential buildings „Poliaris“, „Pašvaistė“ and „Rytas“. They will house a total of 93 pcs. 2-4 rooms apartments and 14 commercial premises.

The development of the “Naujasis Skansenas” project located between Linkmenu and Žalgirio streets began in 2020. Today, “Naujasis Skansenas” is already a city quarter where the community lives, commercial spaces and daily services operate. The last three houses will complete the project that has been consistently developed for more than five years, in which 16 residential houses will be built in total.

During this time, “Naujasis Skansenas” has become one of the most prominent residential projects in the Šnipiškės district of the capital, distinguished by the principles of sustainable urbanism, high-quality architecture, community spaces and advanced engineering solutions. In 2021 The project was recognized as the best multi-apartment BIM project, and in 2024, it won the award for the best residential project in the Lithuanian Real Estate Development Association’s competition “For Sustainable Development”.

“RSJ Investments” is a long-term partner of the YIT corporation, with which a number of projects have already been implemented in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and investments have also been made in Latvia. This is the third step of this group into the real estate market in Lithuania together with “YIT Lietuva”.

This is not the first investment in the “Naujasis Skansenas” project – in 2022 YIT Lietuva has concluded a deal with BTA Baltic Insurance Company, which invests in multi-apartment buildings for rent in Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn.

The last houses of the Naujasis Skansenas are planned to be completed in autumn 2027. The total area of ​​the project is about 4 hectares – of which 3.4 hectares are intended for residential construction.
