A nice-looking car dealership instead of a coal yard

“YIT Kausta” has started the construction of a new complex in Vilnius, Panerių street 57, near the Vilnius Southern Bypass.. It will include a car dealership, administrative premises, workshop, body repair and paint shop, departments of retail and wholesale of parts, warehouse premises. “Juta NT” will be leasing all of 8 thousand sq. m. area premises from the contractor.

The city’s infrastructure will also be improved during the execution of the project – at the junctions of Zietelos, Vilkpėdės and Naugarduko streets, new pedestrian crossings with safety zones will be built. Another pedestrian crossing is designed in Naugarduko street.

According to the Director of the real estate management company “Juta NT” of the corporate group JUTA, V. Sinkevičius, successful operation and growth of the corporate group, a necessity to provide good conditions for the customers and employees, led to a decision to create one of the biggest and modern car centres in Lithuania.

“All the services required for the customers’ cars will be concentrated in a complex built in a very convenient location for the drivers. It is a large-scale project that has to conform to the requirements of all the manufacturers and suppliers of the modern equipment, which are known worldwide that is why we chose a reliable and experienced partner for the implementation of the project”, - said V. Sinkevičius.

The building was designed by the company "Viltekta", the authors of the architectural project - "Architecturos linija".

The project will be implemented on the basis of the Build-to-suit principle - from idea to key. According to Kęstutis Vanagas, the manager of YIT Kausta, projects of such complex solutions have been increasing in the company's basket in recent years.

"Customers turns to the company with the need for development. We help customers to find the most convenient location, to choose the optimal architectural and engineering solutions according to the specifics of the business. After the project is implemented, the client rents it or buys it. Such projects make it possible to save on customer costs to achieve the best results, "says Vanagas.

The projects’ energy efficiency class is A+, including modern ventilation system. A car parking lot with charge places for electro cars is designed at the site. “The tendencies of ecology and sustainability have been moving from business centres to administrative and commercial premises for some time now. The advantage of an effective building is not only a low impact on the environment, its greater value, but also a quicker return on the investment. We can only expect that there will be more of such buildings at the capital city in the coming years and we will catch up to the Scandinavian countries”, - said K. Vanagas.

It is planned that construction works of the complex will be finished by August, next year.

The general area of the building will be 8, 3 thousand sq. m. The cars workshop with the warehouse will take up almost half of the total area, 2 thousand sq. m. – a car parking facility under the roof. Another 1, 4 thousand sq. m. will be dedicated for commercial and car exhibition premises. The remaining area will be dedicated for administrative and other premises.
