Kauno baldai chooses YIT Lietuva as the contractor for the building conversion and a new factory construction

Digital construction tools iTWO, Dalux and others, used by YIT Lithuania will be an integral part of the project implementation, and they will help to acomplish the project smoothly, ”says K. The decidion to build a new pfactory in the existing area was made after considering several alternatives. The decision was made due to the sufficient area for development, convenient transportation for employees and easier production relocation from the old premises.

The construction of the new Kauno baldai factory is planned to be carried out in two stages, and it will start operating at full capacity in the year 2023. Upholstered furniture manufacturer company Kauno baldai exports 100 percent of its production to Scandinavia, Benelux countries and Germany. The company employs 400 people.
